Register online below — it takes about five minutes and ends at the secure $100 payment. You will also need to complete Philadelphia Parks & Recreation’s signed participant form before City enrollment is final.

Fee: $100 per player, all ages
Saturday hours: Saturdays, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Registration opens: November 21, 2026
Registration closes: December 5, 2026

Season: December 2026–February 2027

Teams: About eight teams.

The first two program weeks in December are player evaluations with basketball drills. Team games begin after Christmas break.

I understand basketball involves physical activity and a risk of injury, confirm my player is physically able to participate, and agree that my player will follow program rules, coach instructions, and standards of sportsmanship. If I cannot be reached in an emergency, I authorize McDevitt Rec Basketball staff or coaches to obtain reasonable emergency medical care for my player, and I remain responsible for expenses not covered by insurance. Fee, teams, and season

Teams: About eight teams are planned.
All registered players take part in evaluation drills and are drafted to a team.
Players receive a team shirt, play about six regular-season games before the playoffs, build basketball knowledge, learn from several coaches, and receive an end-of-season trophy.
